Though I do find it sad that my poor rit(<3) can only have 2 sets of armor in Nightfall, I guess we should thankful Anet didn't forget rits and sins at all.

Over the first two campaigns, the core classes had 19 (counted warriors styles, give or take a few for the other 5 core) armor styles. As it stands, Rits and Sins over 2 campaigns have 15 each, between 3-5 fewer styles than the core classes did over the same number of campaigns, and 10-12 fewer in overall number of armor styles.
So what if these professions are supposed to be continent specific ones? Why does that mean that their PvE content should be limited?

This actually made me think for a while. If it was true, then I project most people will be less keen to try out the chapter specific classes since:
a) they're not really in the "holy trinity" or the common rpg classes
b) esthetically speaking, they have less armor and less skills(ok so the latter isn't really a big deal, they still have loads)
So the IMO already thin population of sins and rits(dervs and paras are still here due to NF being the new chapter) might even decrease even more or just plain almost stop. Why would a player even consider trying a chapter specific class for the a) and b) reasons above (except if they wanted to actually try something new)? And plus, if content weren't added for ex sins and rits in NF(like some people here judge would be ok), why would anyone bring any rit or sin to Elona if theyre werent any skills or armor(this is a false statement, just used as an example). So saying that, ppl with those 2 professions would just leave them in their specific chapter and we'd lose more diversity in each new chapter save for the 6 cores and the 2 new professions for that new chapter.
So IMO, its a good thing they added stuff for old chapter professions since otherwise, we'd lose diversity in Guild Wars and I'm one of those "the holy trinity isn't the only good team build" people so I wouldn't like that. I was very happy to see alot of sins and rits in the end game of Nightfall ^_^
Just my 2 cents
PS for those who dont now, the holy trinity is the typical warr, monk, ele or necro or ranger teambuild.

Um, how about the fact that asking for EVERY class to have EVERY armor set in EVERY future campaign will quickly result in a) fewer armor sets for everyone, or b) exponentially more armor sets for ANet to develop every time they release a chapter. Sorry but, the art team can't possibly keep up with that pace (and do a good job on it).

i think the implementation on Armour and skills for previous chapter professions works well as long as they intend to keep it up...
Chapter 4, nothing for 'Sin and rit', small set of skills for para and Derv and two more armours... and carry on as that, jobs a good one and suitably balanced

Look..i dont mind the minimal armor types in Rit, Sin, Par, Dervish ONLY BECAUSE i dont mind some of them.
The ONlY problem is that there are heaps of Rit armor i like....but only 2 or 3 that u can put insignias on....Now i no that i and many others would like to perfect our characters as much as possible...but this limits us to as

Just because they aren't core does not mean that they do not deserve updates. The only thing that separates core and non-core classes are that non-core classes have to be made in a specific chapter, while core don't. That is no reason to restrict them to that chapter. Dervishes, Paragons, Ritualists, and Assassins probably should not get the same amount of armor, just because if they do, there will be way too much armor. Then again, perhaps if they do not add new professions to chapter 4, the dev team will be able to spend the time giving all the professions equal updates.

Maybe if they haddn't added skills and armor for professions that were intended for Factions, in another chapter, you people wouldn't feel as though ArenaNet is obliged to give the Factions classes "fair treatment."
You people make it seem as though they HAVE to give you fair treatment. They don't. They could have easily not made anything new for the Factions clases. It would have meant that they would have had more time to work on things like DoA or the Sunspear and Lightbringer titles.
In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if they had originally planned to not make new armor for the Factions classes, but changed their minds 2 months before release, and as a result had to post-pone finnishing the Elite area.
I have an Assassin and a Ritualist. I have a character for all primaries except mesmer.

I see no problem here. All of the insignias offered (at least the worthwhile ones) for a ritualist or assassin, can be obtained with Factions armour.
